When Ms Monaco Hair Society approached us with a vision for their new Sippy Downs location, they were looking for more than just a hair salon… They wanted a complete transformation into a luxurious, elegant, and welcoming space that elevated the client experience.
With Farrago leading the design, construction, and fitout, we took the project from initial concept through to completion, resulting in an award-winning commercial interior that truly stands out on the Sunshine Coast.
The Vision: Elegant, Feminine, and Functional
The design brief focused on creating a space that felt both elevated and effortless. Key features included:
- A soft, feminine colour palette
- Luxurious gold detailing and statement lighting
- Curved walls and arch features
- Sheer curtains to soften the mood
- A flowing layout with purpose, including a custom bar for guests to enjoy.
Our in-house design team collaborated closely with the client to bring the concept to life, ensuring every detail reflected the relaxed yet refined “High Society” feel they envisioned.
The Design Process: Visualising with Renders
Once the mood boards and material selections were signed off, we produced detailed 3D rendered images to visualise the final space. These professional renders allowed for:

Seamless coordination between trades and teams
This resulted in a confident, collaborative design phase that set the tone for a smooth build.
The Fitout: From Demolition to Final Install
With design complete, our projects team took the lead—managing the entire commercial fitout process. All custom joinery was manufactured in-house at our Sunshine Coast facility, and our site team handled everything from demolition and mirror installation to furniture placement and bar detailing.
We delivered a full turnkey service, including coordination of electrical, plumbing, painting, and flooring trades.
