As part of the complete Farrago experience, we delivered what we like to call the “complete F’d package.” Our services spanned across design, demolition, fitout, project management, construction, joinery manufacture, and installation – offering the client a seamless experience from concept to completion.
The Ox Reimagined
Stepping into the Golden Ox, now rebranded as The Ox, patrons are welcomed into a transformed space that blends tradition with contemporary style. The venue has undergone a full refurbishment, revealing an open-plan bar and bistro designed to cater to all – from sports fans and cocktail enthusiasts to casual diners. Our team took great care to preserve the venue’s connection to the community while introducing fresh, modern elements that reflect the needs of today’s patrons.
The Ox’s design keeps the spirit of its original owners alive with thoughtful touches, such as a family photo proudly displayed on the walls – a nod to the venue’s long-standing history in the community. This attention to detail, combined with modern flair, ensures The Ox remains a favourite local gathering spot for years to come.
The Complete F’d Package
At Farrago, we take pride in delivering a full-service experience. By providing project management, we ensured that every aspect of the refurbishment was handled efficiently and with minimal disruption. Coordinating the intricate phases of design, construction, and installation allowed us to deliver the project on time and within scope – a testament to our team’s dedication to excellence.
Our in-house joinery team played a pivotal role in crafting custom pieces that seamlessly integrate with The Ox’s new aesthetic. From bespoke bar installations to cabinetry and seating, every element was designed and built to enhance the venue’s functionality and appeal. Our commitment to quality craftsmanship ensures that each piece not only looks beautiful but stands the test of time.
Our construction and fitout work included the installation of a new bar, a dedicated gaming room with 25 machines, and a revamped exterior. The new design offers a versatile environment, where locals can enjoy anything from a casual drink while watching the game to a sit-down dinner with family.
