Masfield Tavern Enters a New Era – Farrago Provides Joinery Package

Mansfield Tavern has officially reopened its doors, revealing an incredible transformation that blends its 50-year legacy with a bold, modern update. This iconic Brisbane venue is known for its live music, vibrant community feel, and classic Aussie pub charm and now, it’s been given a well-deserved glow up.

Working with Kingston Design & Construct, our team at Farrago was engaged to deliver the full joinery package for this large-scale hospitality renovation. From the revamped sports bar and bistro, to the entertainment space now known as The Arena, the entire venue has been reimagined to create a more dynamic, family-friendly experience while preserving its iconic character.

Our Scope of Work

We were proud to manufacture all joinery in-house and complete installation on site, ensuring quality and consistency from start to finish. Our joinery package included:

Timber shelving across the bistro, sports bar, gaming and beer garden bars
Banquette seating for the bistro and lounge areas
Gaming consoles and service counters
Feature wall cladding and timber-look panelling to elevate the overall aesthetic
Vanities for male and female restrooms, along with those in the beer garden
Entry timber framework, designed to make a strong first impression

Every detail was crafted with the venue’s new vision in mind. We focused on creating warmth through natural textures and ensuring the finishes could handle the demands of a busy hospitality environment.

From Pub Classic to Southside Destination

The new-look Mansfield Tavern now features a light-filled bistro, a refreshed open-air beer garden, and an upgraded sports bar with a six-metre-wide LED screen, new pool tables, and plenty of space for locals to enjoy major events.

This is more than just a refurbishment. It marks a new era for a much-loved venue, combining history with a fresh, modern identity.
